Music Concerts

Christopher Duigan

The Friends of the Tatham Art Gallery (FOTAG) in association with Christopher Duigan's Music Revival present concerts on a regular basis at the Tatham Art Gallery. The concerts provide much enjoyment to local audiences and are open to all. FREE concerts take place on selected Wednesdays at lunch time between 13h10 and 13h50, while Sunday afternoon performances are usually open to paying audiences with occasional FREE events presented on a Sunday.

The concerts have provided Gallery patrons and music lovers with exciting programmes and a variety of music genres from classics to jazz and marimba. Christopher Duigan together with other well-known musical personalities from Pietermaritzburg have an exciting music programme set for this year.

Scheduled to perform later in the year are: the Orpheus Duo: Sabine Baird (flute) and Linor Griffith (harp), IDOLS semi-finalist Jonathan Grayson on vocals and guitar performing a selection of his own material and the St Nicholas Marimba Band led by Musa Ndlovu.

If you would like to perform in this concert series please send an application with details of your performance to the email address below. The Sunday concerts are often combined with walk-abouts of current exhibitions in the Gallery and special Sunday lunch and tea offered at the Tatham Coffee Shop.
