The Tatham Art Gallery run an education programme that serves established and aspiring artists and children in the wider Msunduzi region.
- Young Adult Art Classes
- Friday art classes are held at the Old Presbyterian Church from 14h30-16h30 during school term. The art class bridges the gap between learners who study art at school and those who don't have it as part of their subjects. Learners are taught art theory and how to apply the various techniques in their own work. As part of youth development, some of the learners also take part in the About Face Portrait Drawing Workshop on selected Wednesdays.

- Artists' Forum
- The Artists' Forums take place at the Gallery Lecture Theatre on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month. As part of the continuous effort to empower and nurture talent, the Forums are conducted in a manner that provides feedback to artists, with regards to technical aspects or subject matter and use of medium. The Forums are a link for aspiring artists to network and become art entrepreneurs.
