Curriculum Curricula exhibition

In order to assist Visual Arts Studies learners this an exhibition of works by South African artists is displayed in the Gallery's four exhibition spaces: the Foyer, Main Gallery, Main Stairwell and Ceramics Room.

These categories are however not restricted to artists and their work. They are bite-size chunks for learners to understand how artists contributed to changing the South African visual art landscape. Research files are available in the Gallery's resource centre but booking is essential.

Viewers are reminded that the themes are not mutually exclusive, and that more examples can be found in other display areas. The Tatham Shop is also well stocked with examples of contemporary craft. To further assist learners, a research centre has been set up where copies of documents from the Gallery's history files on relevant artists can be viewed by appointment.
