Art Classes for Young Adults

Art Classes for Young Adults
Fridays from 14h30 to 16h30
Cost: R60 per month (including materials)

This outreach programme is designed for young artists, and those learners who are not offered art in their school curriculum. Classes are run during school terms on Fridays and participants get inspiration from the exhibitions on display.

Muzi Ndlela’s exhibition, Identity or Belief, stimulated much debate. Ndlela, who was once a member of the art class, worked with students during the week he was in residence and taught them valuable drawing skills.
Students are encouraged to participate in the Gallery’s developmental programmes such as Artists’ Forum meetings, artists-in-residence programmes and Gallery facilitated workshops.
